Count me in! What is the initiation process?? I wanna be part of this plant-based animal loving cult!
The Vegan Hooligans are like the popular crowd that all the losers envy. They bring a type of swag to the vegan community that is undeniably attractive and hip. I love love love the Vegan Hooligans logo, super cute and cool. The diner has an old school fifties diner vibe and they play eighties classic rock music inside the diner. The staff are very friendly and fast with orders. The diner is pretty small, but don't let that fool you. The magic that is bestowed inside is anything but small.
Food items vary depending on what day it is, they have special menus for certain days of the week. Also, they serve desserts that are completely vegan sometimes. This is definitely one of the cons of The Vegan Hooligans. They may not have what you are craving on that particular day. However, you can catch them at one of the vegan food festivals and they have more of a variety of menu items. Still though, he food is great! I loved the chili cheese fries! Avoid the quesadilla, even with asada vegan meat it still doesn't taste like a quesadilla. The asada vegan meat is sooooooo darn good! I could order a bowl of just that and my life would be complete. -

Are they closed for good? It's Saturday Night. 6:20pm. And it's dark inside.
So where should I go.
1 star review for now because there is nothing else to base this review on except for the fact Yelps says they are open but... THEY ARENT!!! -

I saw this on Roy Choi's "Broken Bread" and had to try it. As someone who is trying to avoid dairy, having a real greasy spoon patty melt is usually out of the question. But Vegan Hooligans made it possible again. I almost didn't miss the meat because the grilled onions, stretchy vegan cheese, and crunchy sourdough was so good. The menu is a mixture of your favorite diner foods and fast food restaurant favorites. Service was fast and friendly. It was really hot in the restaurant and the sun was searing through the window. Wish they had some shades.

The meatiness of Hooligan's creations will make a non-vegan blush. Whether it's at their pop-up locations or their diner in HP, you can't go wrong.
get the melt if your eyes wander elsewhere, get that also but melt is
Pay attention to their Instagram page for specials, they usually post shakes, special fries and sandwiches.
